Tentative Itinerary

Day 1:

5:30 a.m.     Depart Lincoln East High School for Nashville, TN (meals on own & stops en route)

9:30 p.m.     Approximate arrival in Nashville and check-in at hotel

Day 2:

Breakfast at hotel

8:00 a.m.      Transfer to community service locations

8:30 a.m.       Volunteer/Community Service Projects (TBD)

10:30 a.m.     Transfer to clinic location

11:00 a.m.      Band Clinic with Local College or University Director

12:30 p.m.     Transfer to Opry Mills

1:00 p.m.        Opry Mills (lunch on own) 

This beautiful indoor mall boasts more than 200 stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Forever 21, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, and more.  Full-service dining options include Aquarium Restaurant, Rainforest Cafe, and Chuy’s Mexican Food, as well as quick and fast options such as Johnny Rockets and Panda Express.

3:00 p.m.        Grand Ole Opry Backstage Tour 

What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is today a live-entertainment phenomenon. Dedicated to honoring country music’s rich history and dynamic present, the Grand Ole Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps.

4:40 p.m.         Transfer to Opry Backstage Grill

5:00 p.m.         Group Dinner at Opry Backstage Grill (or comparable)

One of Nashville’s most famous country music venues is now serving up signature southern cuisine. Opry Backstage Grill serves delectable Southern fare paired perfectly with live music. Create unforgettable memories as you enjoy a delicious dining experience.

Enjoy performing at this gathering plaza prior to admission into the Grand Ole Opry Show.

9:30 a.m.         Ryman Auditorium Tour

Lake a Guided Tour through more than a century of entertainment history in this National Historic Landmark. Learn the fascinating story of the building’s construction as the Union Gospel Tabernacle and how it transitioned into a leading performing arts venue.

 

11:00 a.m.       Transfer to Wildhorse Saloon

11:30 a.m.       Group Lunch and Line Dancing Lessons at Wildhorse Saloon

The Wildhorse Saloon is Nashville’s #1 Dining and Entertainment destination and a mecca of entertainment.  Come enjoy good food, good dancing and a good time!

1:30 p.m.         Transfer to Country Music Hall of Fame

2:00 p.m.         Country Music Hall of Fame

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has been the home of America’s music since 1967. Its mission is to identify and preserve the evolving history and traditions of country music and to educate its audiences.

 3:30 p.m.        Studio B

Nestled on renowned Music Row, historic RCA Studio B is the oldest surviving recording studio in Nashville and one of the most famous studios in the world.

5:00 p.m.         Transfer to Parthenon

5:15 p.m.         Photo Op at Parthenon and Enjoy Centennial Park

The Parthenon is the world’s only full-scale replica of the classical era’s crowning achievement.  The plaster replicas of the Parthenon Marbles found in the Naos are direct casts of the original sculptures which adorned the pediments of the Athenian Parthenon, dating back to 438 B.C.

6:00 p.m.         Transfer to General Jackson Showboat

6:30 p.m.         Board General Jackson Showboat

7:00 p.m.         Enjoy Dinner and Show on the General Jackson Showboat

Our 300-foot paddlewheel riverboat is one of the largest showboats in the country. It boasts four massive decks with a beautiful two-story Victoria Theater located in the center of the boat, where live country music shows are performed.

9:15 a.m.         Transfer to Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum

10:00 a.m.       Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum (closed on Sundays)

The Musicians Hall of Fame is a premiere Nashville attraction and the one and only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians who actually played on the greatest recordings of all time.

11:30 a.m.       Depart Nashville for Lincoln, NE (meals on own & stops en route)
